Mary A. Edwards, 85, Sarasota, died Nov. 22, 2005. She was born March 5, 1920, in Giles County, Tenn., and came to Sarasota 41 years ago from Pulaski, Tenn. She retired as owner/operator of a dress shop in Pulaski and was a member of Osprey Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Carl W.; a stepson, Ronald E. of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; a sister, Martha J. of Sarasota; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Sarasota Memorial Park. Flowers will be welcome.
