McLEOD - Marvin William 1933 - 2009 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Marvin was a member of the Vancouver Fire Department for 31 years, retiring with the rank of Captain. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 59 years, Enid and two sons he was very proud of, Terry and Allan. Marvin also leaves two loving daughters-in-law, Anna and Shari and cherished grandchildren Kevin and Stacey. Many thanks to his special friend Paddy Clark. Marv was the type of man who made an impact on all that knew him and many friendships were developed and nurtured by this caring man. A celebration of Marvin's life will be held at the Firefighters' Club, where he was a founding member, on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 1:00pm, 6515 Bonsor Ave., Burnaby, B.C. Rev. Bruce Rushton officiating. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. Michael's Center Hospice Foundation, 7451 Sussex Ave., Burnaby, B.C. V5J 5C2.
