MILLER, Marvin W.November 15, 1928 to June 24, 2013. The son of the late Mary (Kahanowitz) and David Miller. Beloved husband of 60 years to Harriett (Greenberg) Miller. Devoted and cherished father of Steven (Marguerite) Miller and Ruth (Rick) Miller-Burke. Also survived by brother, Morton; pre-deceased by brothers, Jerome and Richard. Marvin was born in New Haven, CT. With Harriett they opened Miller Mills Fabrics in Bridgeport, CT in 1968. In 1980 they moved to Florida where a year later Steven joined them and they opened Miller Mills Decorating in Delray Beach, where Steven continues the family business today. Marvin was always devoted to his family. Besides his family Marvin enjoyed playing golf up until a few years ago when strokes made it too difficult to play. Both Marvin and Harriett are active members of the Bethesda Memorial Hospital Stroke Support Group. Also, members of Temple Torah Synagogue in Boynton Beach and founding members of the Sun Chasers B'Nai Brith Chapter, Boynton Beach. Graveside services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, June 27 at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers the family request donations may be made to the Bethesda Memorial Hospital Stroke Support Group.
