AUGUSTA, Ga. - Marvin T. Davis, 52, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Trinity Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at The Salvation Army with Capt. Todd Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Marvin was a graduate of Augusta College where he received a BS in English. He also completed his apprenticeship from Local 150 Plumber / Steamfitters Union. Marvin worked for the Medical College of Georgia as a Plumber. He was a member of The Salvation Army. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Schlena B. Davis, his father, Lonnie Davis of Augusta, GA, one brother, Arthur Davis of Augusta, GA. Marvin was preceded in death by his mother, the late Louise Davis and his brother, the late Ron Davis. Pallbearers will be Arthur Davis, Michael Harbuck, Johnny Davis, Tommy Davis, Dean Vinson, and Wallace Smith. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service at The Salvation Army, 2020 Gardner St., Augusta, GA 30904.
