JACKSON, Martha Merle Louise (nee Hambly) - Of Ayton, Ontario died Wednesday, July 6, 2011 in Oilfields Hospital, Black Diamond, Alberta after a lengthy struggle with heart disease. Born in King City, Ontario, January 21, 1919 to Henry and Merle Hambly; Martha's accomplishments are known by those who loved her, her family, friends, pupils and colleagues. Martha is survived by her son Jerome, her daughters Summer and Shelley, her brother John, granddaughters Stephanie, Mattie, Honora, Rosalind, her grandson Jeffery and her great-grandson Marc Anthony. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. July 12, 2011 at King City United Church, 50 Elizabeth Grove, King City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Save the Children Fund or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
