SEITZ, Martha Martha Seitz was born on November 21, 1921 in Orion, Alberta and passed away peacefully on August 11, 2008 at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary. Martha moved to Strathmore in 1947 with her husband Christian and her daughter Faye to start ranching east of Strathmore. She was very passionate about her gardening and had a deep love for her yard, ranch, and especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Christian; parents Christina and Frederick Mack; and brothers Albert, Johnnie, and Archie. She leaves to mourn, her daughter Faye (Rick) Damen; grandson Darrell and his children, Travis, Justin and Tyson; granddaughter, Donna (Shawn) Mullen and their children, Tegan and Jace; brothers Fred (Emma) Mack and Bill (Marion) Mack, sister Emma Mack and sister-in-law Irma Mack. A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Dawn Nelson and the nurses and staff at Strathmore Hospital and Peter Lougheed Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at Lord Of All Lutheran Church, Strathmore at 12:00 p.m. Interment Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
