Martha M. Jenkins, 85, of Louisville, died Monday, March 23, 2003, at Baptist Hospital East. She was a past member of the Queen's Daughters, Our Lady of Peace Auxiliary, the American Red Cross, Louisville Boat Club, the Pendennis Club and a current member of St. Leonard Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She is survived by her son, I. Sidney Jenkins III; daughters, Marcy Pelton (Dick) of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, and Julie Hoagland (Pat) of Lexington, KY; two grandchildren, Lauren and Will Hoagland of Lexington; sister, Elizabeth M. Francis; and brother, Richard J. Mazzoni. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2003, at her church, 440 Zorn Ave., with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Ln.
