Martha Jenkins Williams Martha Jenkins Williams, 80, a retired teacher of Gadsden County Schools, died Sunday, April 5, 2009, in Tallahassee, Fla. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Friday, April 10, 2009, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Strong & Jones Funeral Home (850-224-2139) is handling arrangements.The family will assemble at 1221 Volusia Street. A native of Sanford, Fla., she was a member of New Hope M.B. Church and Gadsden County Retired Teachers Association. Survivors include seven sons, Patrick Williams (Vicki), John Williams (Denise), Frank Williams (Vet), Ralph Williams (Ava), DeWayne Williams (Kathleen) all of Tallahassee and Tommy Williams (Kendra) of Winter Haven, Fla.; three daughters, Dorothy W. Taylor and Mary Jugger-Williams of Tallahassee and Cecila Stanley of Philadelphia, Pa. and a host of grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Williams.
