TUSCALOOSA Martha Jean Goins Burroughs, age 75, of Tuscaloosa, died Nov. 3, 2005 at DCH-Tuscaloosa. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Donald Payne officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Her parents, Richard and Mary Goins, her brothers, Gordon Goins and Edgar Goins, and her sister, Lenice Robinson, preceded her in death.Survivors include her husband, Leland Bryant Burroughs, Sr.; daughter, Linda Barry (Jim) of Northport; sons, Bryant Burroughs (Ruth) of Greenville, S.C., Bill Burroughs (Terri) and Mike Burroughs (Joy) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sister, Nora Belle Cason of Birmingham, Ala.; brother, Whitman Goins (Ruth) of Tuscumbia, Ala.; grandchildren, Daniel Barry of Deltona, Fla., Chris Barry of Northport, Ala., Michelle Ray of Northport, Ala., Lee Burroughs of Fairfax, Va., Kaylee Harvey of Reading, England, William Barry of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Mary Dearman of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Luke Barry of Northport, Ala., and Katy Burroughs of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Cullen Barry and Trent Barry of McCalla, Ala., and Jacob Barry and Jeb Barry of Northport, Ala.Mrs. Burroughs focused her heart on her family. All her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren remember the sweetness of her spirit, the joy in her voice, and the love in her hugs.
