Mrs. Martha Henderson, 60, of Florence, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at ECM Hospital, after an extended illness. She was a native of Colbert County and had lived most of her life in Florence, a member of Family Worship Center in Tuscumbia and a hairdresser for a number of years.Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2006, at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006, at Greenview Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens, Tuscumbia. Officiating will be Brother Wayne Fleming.Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by a son, Dell Thompson; parents, Koval "Pop" Graham and Ethel Wilson Graham; sister, Kovie Davis; and in-laws, Lois and Ellis Henderson.She is survived by her husband, Stanley Ellis Henderson; two sons, Darren Thompson and wife, Carol, and Danny Thompson and wife, Leigh; two daughters, Laura Kitchen and Julie Keretz and husband, Charlie; daughter-in-law, Grace Hodges; stepmother, Patricia Graham; two brothers, Bob Graham and wife, Doris, and Harold "Tater" Graham and wife, Shirley; four stepbrothers, Brady Bruce and wife, Judy, Lynn Bruce and wife, Trish, Randy Bruce and wife, Brenda, and Billy Arnold; two stepsisters, Sarah Bruce and husband, Ron Morrison, and Laura Bourdon and husband, Rick; two granddaughters, Caroline Thompson and Alex Thompson, who were the joys of Grammy's life; two grandsons, Jesse Kitchen and Frankie Meade; special friends, Sherrie Hamilton and husband, Tony, and "Cricket" Byrd; three nieces, Debbie Stutts, Suzanne Byrom and husband, Buzzy, and Kris Twitchell and husband, Matt; two nephews, Bruce Graham and wife, Christi, and Rick Davis.Pallbearers will be Bob Ashley, Charlie Ricks, Bruce Graham, Tony Hamilton, Matt Hamilton and Zach Stutts.Martha's deepest love on this earth was her "Baby" (Stan) and her boys. Martha loved music and singing, water aerobics and Atlanta Braves baseball.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.Greenview Funeral Home, of Florence, is directing.
