Martha Nicholas Fleming SARATOGA SPRINGS-Martha Nicholas Fleming, 96, died peacefully on Monday January 3, 2011 at the Wesley Nursing Facility in Saratoga Springs. Born on April 2, 1914, in Bucks County Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Susan Nicholas Bean. Martha married Oliver Fleming, he predeceased her in 1945. Martha worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the Long Island press. Martha was a avid reader, long time NY Yankee Fan and member of the First Reformed Church of Schenectady, New York. Survivors include sons Robert and Richard Fleming (wife Lynne Tryon); 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Thursday Jan. 6, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at Tunison Funeral Home (105 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs), where friends and family may call from 6 to 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Wesley Nursing Home. Internment following service in Pennsylvania at a later date.
