MARSHALL A. ANDERSON 93, of Atlantis, Florida, died Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at his summer residence in Rockford, Illinois. Born in Rockford on April 30, 1910 to Albert E and Vida (Dool) Anderson, he graduated from Rockford Central High School and attended the University of Illinois. As a Lieutenant, jg in the Naval Reserve, he married Dorothy Frederick on March 6, 1943 in South Bend, Indiana. She predeceased him in 1993. He retired as Executive Vice President of American Water Works, based in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Anderson is survived by nieces: Susan (Clarke) Vetrono, and Linda (Jaxon) Oshita of Rockford, Nan Frederick (Michael Ponder) of Portland, Oregon, and Toni (John) Houston of Hopewell Junction, New York; nephew, Charles Frederick of Indianapolis, Indiana; several grandnieces; a grandnephew; and one great-grandnephew. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother and sister-in-law, Burdette and Rae Anderson of Rockford. Private family services will be held. No visitation and private burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
