PETERS Mark, 53, a former resident of Pompton Plains, died unexpectedly at his home in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 7, 2009.He was the son of the late Audrey and William V. Peters. He was predeceased by one brother, Scott. He is survived by three brothers, Todd Peters of Pompton Plains, Kim Peters of Pequannock, and Greg Peters of Manville. He also leaves five nieces, five nephews, and many beloved friends.Mark was a 1973 graduate of Pequannock Township High School. He attended Morris County Community College. He worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years, including Portobello's in Oakland, and Pub 23 in Pompton Plains. Throughout his life, Mark made a special impact on family, friends, and every person he met. He was an avid music fan, and loved to travel. His kind smile, humorous attitude, and adventurous spirit will be missed by all.A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 7 at 7:30 PM, at St. Mary's Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes.
