Later married Bill Smith and celebrated 50 years together before his death. She made friends easily and had many that stayed in touch thru out the years. A former member of Portage Country Club, Akron City Club, served on the Hospital (Summa) board and a member of the "Crippled Childrens" board.She will be remembered for all her wool braided rugs, all her needlepoint and embroidery and her fun parties. She leaves a nephew, Dr. R.L. Klein and wife, Karin; special friends, George, Blanca and Dave, Jan, Barb and Pete, June and David, Karen and Jim, Diane and Bill. Services will be held privately.
