SMITH, Marjorie Jeanne August 25, 1934 January 3, 2006 It is with great sorrow that we announce that Marge passed away after a courageous battle with many illnesses. At the time of her death she was surrounded by her loving children. Marge touched the heart of everyone she met and was a caring and generous soul to both people and animals alike. No one and nothing in need was ever turned away by her. She was predeceased by her husband Alex in 1990. She will be sadly missed and remembered by her son Dave (Sherry) Smith; daughters: April (Gary) Prinz, Marjie (Aurel) Penner, Mary (Lorne Zarski) Smith; grandchildren: Amy, Frankie, Jillian, Ryan, Nevada and Zachary; sister Louise Keleny and brothers Marley and Reg Dickson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Marge's family doctor, Dr. Marthyman and to the Royal Jubilee Hospital doctors and nurses, especially Cathy and Pamela in the I.C.U., whose care in Mom's final hours was greatly appreciated. Memorial Service will be held in the Sands Funeral Chapel, 1803 Quadra Street, Victoria, BC on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
