Marjorie Mae Potter 1931-2012 It is with deep sadness the family announces the death of Marjorie M. Potter, wife of James Potter of Rothesay, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Marjorie was born in Springhill, NS and was the only child of the late Randolph and Jean (Fullerton) Carter. She spent the greater part of her life in the Saint John area but loved her summer cottage in Nova Scotia. Marjorie had a great love for antiques, was a valued volunteer at the Salvation Army for many years and was a supportive member of Silver Falls United Church. Besides her husband James, she is survived by two daughters, Sandra Lockett (Brian) of Saint John and Kathie Dobbin (Don) of Sussex; seven grandchildren, Kendra Goguen (Joe), Kimberly Lee (Chris), Kristen Augustine (Karl), Chris Dobbin (Jill), Michael Dobbin (Emma), Tricia Wright (Artie), and Lisa Atherton (Stephen); several great-grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 7 - 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 3:30 pm. Interment will take place at a later date.
