HomemakerDAVENPORT -- Mrs. Marjorie D. Johnson of Davenport died of complications of Alzheimer's disease Monday (March 21, 2005) in Davenport. She was 85.Born in Andalusia, Ala., on April 9, 1919, she came to Davenport from Atlanta in 1980. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Cypress Cathedral.Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Anne Suggs, Winter Haven, Sharon Felty, Tulsa, Okla.; sisters, Virginia Benton, Mae Carter, both of Mobile, Ala.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Foreman Brown Funeral Home, Andalusia, Ala. Graveside services will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven.
