Marjorie Jeanette (Jeffryes) Maxwell, age 67, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007, in her home in Springfield, Mo. She was born March 8, 1940, in Springfield, Mo., the daughter of Edward Douglas Jeffryes and Edith Marie (Fulbright) Jeffryes. She was united in marriage to Bill Maxwell on September 21, 1958, and to this union were born three children. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter, Rachel Kelley. She is survived by her husband, Billy Maxwell of the home; one daughter and her husband, Robin and Ron Kelley; two sons, Mark Maxwell and Mike Maxwell; one sister, Joyce Hensley; one brother and his wife, Jim and Nancy Jeffryes, all of Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren, Kory Maxwell, Adam McGauley and Travis Erwin. She was a very special person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Arrangements are being handled by Walnut Lawn Funeral Home LTD, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn St., Springfield, Mo., where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2007. Funeral service will be at Springhill Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, with Rev. Kevin Smith officiating. Interment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Mo.
