GOODWIN Marjorie (Cook) "Margene," age 66, was born in Camden, SC. She resided in Paterson, NJ for over 50 years. Mrs. Goodwin departed this life on Thursday, December 8, 2011. She was employed at The Daughters of Miriam, Clifton, NJ, The Paramus Care Center, Paramus, NJ and The Visiting Health Services, Totowa, NJ. She was a former member of The Grace Chapel Baptist Church, Paterson, NJ. She loved to spend time with her friends at The Buckingham Senior Center, Prospect Park, NJ. She was predeceased by her parents: Edmond and Blanch (Cook) Woodhouse, uncles: Robert, George, James and Haywood Cook, aunts: Josephine Ingram, Margaret Dow, and Maubed Kelly, cousin: Charma La Ray Fullwood, best friends: Sarah Mae Mc Coy and Arlene Lee. She is survived by her husband Belton Goodwin Jr., sons: Dysaun Brown, Henry, Darryl and Dondray Goodwin, daughters: Dana Brown, Jacqueline and Charvelle Goodwin, brothers: Edmond Woodhouse, Jr., sisters: Corinne Russell and Laura King, special aunts: Ruth Cook and Polly Alexander, fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a host of god-children and great-god-children, devoted friend: Linda Stancil, special caregiver: Denva Mallett and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, December 17, 2011, 2 PM at The Grace Chapel Baptist Church 22-26 Haledon Ave., Paterson, NJ. Interment: Arlington Cemetery.
