MARJORIE F. WHITE FORMERLY OF INTERLAKEN - Marjorie F. White, formerly of Kelleys Corners Road, Interlaken, passed away at Lakeside Nursing Home on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the age of 90. Born on November 26, 1918 in Trumansburg, New York, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Arthur and Grace (Henry) Hubbell. She attended Willow Creek School and Trumansburg High School. Marjorie married Herbert G. White in October of 1933 and the family moved to Interlaken in 1947. She was employed for many years at F.W. Woolworth in Ithaca and later at Rothchilds Department Store. Marjorie was a member of the Interlaken Reformed Church and a 50 year member of the South Seneca Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Herbert White; one brother, Ralph Hubbell; and one sister, Anna Hubbell. She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Price of Waco, TX, Eleanor Bingham of Newfield, NY, and Ruth White of Kamloops, BC, Canada; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South St., Trumansburg, on Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 1-2 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 2 p.m., at the funeral home, with the Reverend Derek Vande Slunt officiating.
