Marjorie Elizabeth Goodwin, née en 1931, conjointe de Josef Hueller, mère de Marc, David et John, est décédée le 24 août 2016 à l'âge de 85 ans.
GOODWIN, Marjorie Elizabeth "Marge" (Hueller)MSW (PhD candidate)Passed away peacefully on August 24, 2016 at Sechelt Hospital at 85 years of age. Marge was born January 4, 1931 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She graduated from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick where she met her first husband, Hal Goodwin (deceased 2005) and moved to Prince Edward Island, where she had her first two children Marc (1951) and David (1952). In 1957 the entire family moved to Vancouver, where Marge attended UBC and obtained her MSW and completed her coursework for a PhD in Sociology. In 1963, she gave birth to her third son, John. Prior to completing her thesis she was drawn to Ottawa to pursue a career in long-range planning for Health and Welfare Canada. After several years she returned to her home in West Point Grey where she applied her architectural design talents. During this time she married her second husband, Josef Hueller, (deceased November 2014). After visiting Hawaii, Marge found her paradise, purchasing a beautiful home in Kailua, Oahu in 1991. In 2003 she returned to Gibsons, BC, the Sunshine Coast, her final resting place. Marge loved to entertain at her pool side in Hawaii and subsequently Gibsons with family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Marge is survived by her three sons, Marc (Corinne), David, and John (Debbie), her 10 grandchildren, Jess, Kim, Chris, Trina, Dave, Alex, Veronica, Melissa, Laura and Matthew and 5 great- grandchildren, Victoria, Sarah, Koyia, Zylan and Thea. The family would like to thank Dr. Reznick and the nursing and health care staff of Sechelt Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care of our mother.
