Marjorie Edna (Hughes) White formerly of Fitchburg; 87 SEATTLE, Washington Marjorie Edna (Hughes) White, died Tuesday, April 14, in Seattle, Washington, after a long illness. She was 87 years old. Margie was born August 9, 1921, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, the third child of George Nelson Hughes and Blanche May (McDonald) Hughes. She lived most of her life in Fitchburg and the Upper Eastern Seaboard. Margie graduated with Honors from Fitchburg High School in 1940. She moved to Seattle, Washington, in 1987, where she lived with her daughter and family until her death. Mrs. White is survived by two children, David B. White IV of Los Angeles, CA, and Marianne (White) Larson of Seattle, WA; four grand-children, David J. White II of Los Angeles, CA; Samantha M. (White) Thompson of Nashua, NH; Blaine A. Larson of Seattle, WA, and Chelsea R. Larson of Seattle, WA; and three great-grandchildren, David K. and Liam P, White of Los Angeles, CA, and Sophia M. Thompson of Nashua, NH. She is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy A. (Hughes) Palmer of Pocatello, Idaho, and Pauline F (Hughes) Mulrennan of Melbourne, FL; and one brother, David F. Hughes II of Millbury, MA; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Marge was predeceased by her husband, David J. White I of Fitchburg, MA; her son, Arthur G. White of Las Vegas, NV; her grandson, Darren J. White of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters, Eleanor M (Hughes) L'Ecuyer of Southbridge, MA; Velma E. (Hughes) Walker of Leominster, MA; and three brothers, George E. Hughes of Fitchburg, MA, Donald F. Hughes of Van Nuys, CA, and Robert M. Hughes of San Diego, CA. WHITE A graveside Memorial Service will be held in Fitchburg, MA in late summer of 2009, at Saint Bernard's Cemetery, where Marjorie will be laid gently to her rest beside her husband, David J. White I.
