Marjorie-E. Fleming, née en 1915, conjointe de John-R. Fleming, fille de Arthur et Mary-E, est décédée le 23 octobre 2007 à l'âge de 92 ans.
Fleming, Marjorie E. MELROSE Marjorie E. (Kinsey) Fleming, 92, a longtime resident of Boyntonville, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, following a long illness. Born on July 22, 1915 in Manhattan, Mrs. Fleming was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary E. (Fitzgerald) Kinsey and the wife of the late John R. Fleming who predeceased her on July 17, 1962. Mrs. Fleming was a graduate of Freeport High School on Long Island. After moving upstate in 1947, she made her home in the Boyntonville area of Pittstown for many years. For over 40 years, she was employed as a receptionist in Troy by the Rensselaer County Veteran's Service Agency. She retired in 1982. Following retirement, she continued to be a homemaker in Boyntonville where she enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading. She was a communicant of St. George Roman Catholic Church and active in the church's altar rosary society. Additionally, she was a member of the local Ladies Home Bureau Club. Mrs. Fleming is survived by her son and his wife, Kenneth J. and Patricia Fleming I of Melrose; four grandchildren, Kenneth J. Fleming II of Rensselaer, Rachel L. and Christopher Guerin of Brunswick, Karolyn and John Giardina of Greenville and Jason Weber of Brunswick; and three great-grandchildren, Connor J. Guerin of Brunswick and Taylor Lagace and Jenna Giardina, both of Greenville. A Mass of Christian Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at St. George Roman Catholic Church in Pittstown with Fr. James Clark, Fr. Donald Kelly and Fr. John Riley officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, October 26 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Howard B. Tate & Son Funeral Home Inc., 2237 New York Route 7, located in Raymertown. Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the Melrose Volunteer Fire Company, 784 NY-Rt.40, Melrose, NY 12121 or the Hoosic Valley Rescue Squad, NY-Rt.40, Schaghticoke, NY 12154 in memory of Mrs. Marjorie E. Fleming.
