Marjorie B. Clark loved gardening, bird watching, crosswords Groton Marjorie B. Clark died at her home on Tuesday. She was born in Brooklyn, New York October 17, 1924 daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Williams) Baum, and was the husband of the late James F. Clark, who died in 1994. She was also the mother of the late James M. Clark, who died in 2001. Mrs. Clark spent her early life in Brooklyn, New York and Hazelton, Pennsylvania and was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, New York, class of 1942; and the Washington School for secretaries, of New York City. After graduation from the Washington School she modeled for a short time before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps serving at Camp Pendleton Oceanside, California with the rank of Corporal. A resident of Groton for the past 51 years, she enjoyed gardening, bird watching and crossword puzzles; she also enjoyed going to the Fitchburg Y.W.C.A.. She is survived by her daughter Marylynne Sirutis, of Bainbridge Island, Washington; 2 grandsons Sean C. and Michael M. Sirutis; a sister Marylin Reed and her husband Bill, of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Cousins Mary Louise Sheehan, Jack Leonard and Margaret Jabson, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. CLARK of Groton, Marjorie B. (Baum) Clark, died April 15, 2008. Graveside Services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, April 24, 2008 Groton Cemetery. Arrangements by the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School St., Groton, Ma.
