Marjorie A. (Nash) Mitchell, 84, of Rockland, died on June 5, 2013 at the South Shore Hospital after a period of failing health. She was born in Milton, daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Murry) Nash and was raised and educated in Neponset. She has made her home in Rockland since 1963. A devoted family woman, Margie enjoyed Bingo, going to Foxwoods and was an avid Red Sox fan. Wife of the late Charles J. Mitchell Sr. she is survived by her children, Charles J. Mitchell Jr., Steven M. Mitchell, Robert C. Mitchell, Janet M. Petrosevich, Marjorie A. Cronin, Michelle L. Mitchell all of Rockland, John T. Mitchell of Whitman and Michael S. Mitchell of Hanson. She was the sister of Rita Fitzgerald of S. Weymouth, Carl Nash of Neponset and Robert Nash of FL. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Mary A. Reardon and her siblings, Barbara Kimmett, Carol Campbell and Kenneth Nash. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family welcomed friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Burial in the Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
