Depot Manager CLEARWATER, S.C.- Entered into rest on Monday, November 3, 2003, Mrs. Marion Strickland Walker, wife of Mr. Alvin Lee Walker, of 30 South Street, Clearwater. Surviving along with her husband is a daughter, Shirley W. Sligh, of Edgefield, S.C.; a son, Kenneth Lee Walker, of Knoxville, Tenn., and six grandchildren. Mrs. Walker was born in Augusta to the late J.A. and Marion Clark Strickland. She was a manager for Depot Food Stores with 10 years of service and she attended Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Joel Mundy and Roy Dixon officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
