WOODSTOCK - Marion M. Moore, 79, died Feb. 3, 2011, at her son's home in Woodstock.She was born Nov. 20, 1931, in Woodstock, the daughter of Lawrence and Izah (Johnson) Martin. She received her schooling in Woodstock, and graduated from Woodstock High School in 1951. She married Paul H. Moore in South Royalton on Jan. 25, 1955. They lived in Woodstock most of their married lives. They moved to Windsor in 2005 to reside at the Evarts House. Mr. Moore died March 2, 2007. Mrs. Moore returned to Woodstock in December of 2008 to live with her son, Kelly, and his wife, Gail.She greatly enjoyed knitting and making quilts.Survivors include two sons, Michael D. Moore of Fairlee, and Kelly J. Moore of Woodstock; one daughter, Colleen Daniels of Quechee; four grandchildren, one great-grandson; two brothers, Richard L. Martin of West Woodstock, and Sheldon L. Martin of Shatagee Bridgewater; one sister, Phyllis I. Frechette of Wilder; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband, Mrs. Moore was predeceased by a son, Timothy J. Moore, in 1984.A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, Feb. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Tall Timbers Recreation Hall in Quechee.Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Alliance of VT and NH, 66 Benning St., West Lebanon, NH 03784.The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is in charge of arrangements.
