MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Marion Lawrence "Larry" Knight, 67, of Martinez, Georgia entered into rest Friday, December 27, 2013. Larry worked for Winn-Dixie Stores for 38 years and retired as a store manager in 2001. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of John S. Davidson Lodge and Alice Warren Chapter 483 OES. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed family vacations to Disney World and the beach. Larry is survived by his wife, Sally S. Knight; son, Travis (Jennifer) Knight; daughters, Renee (Robert) Peloquin and Kristy (Andy) Phillips; grandchildren, Rachel and Ryan Peloquin, Shaw and Cody Knight and Laura Lynn Phillips. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruland and Margaret Knight. The family will receive friends from 11-12:30 PM, Monday, December 30, 2013 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 1PM, Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Campbell, Brian Pate, Robbie Templeton, Alex Templeton, Danny Senesac and Keith Pate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church Building Fund, 4943 Columbia Road, Grovetown, Georgia 30813.
