CLARK, Marion Katherine June 6, 1925 August 29, 2005 Born Marion Katherine Harwood in Vancouver BC, passed away in Victoria BC at the age of 80. Predeceased by husband Milton and son Gary, she is survived by sons Robin, Herb (Kathie) and daughter Carol (Ron). Lovingly remembered by her two very special grandsons Torben and Ben and other members of the Harwood and Clark families. Marion grew up in a rural Richmond BC with her 3 brothers. She joined the Women's Army Corp in Victoria where she met Milton and later moved back to Richmond where she taught elementary school for many years. She enjoyed nature, particularly the trees, birds and flowers that inspired her watercolour painting and poetry. She loved a walk in the park where she was surrounded by nature. She enjoyed a longstanding relationship with childhood friends from Richmond. Her cadre of more recent friends in Victoria will also miss Marion. She will be fondly remembered for her generosity and love of learning and her endearing devotion to her family. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the James Bay United Church, 511 Michigan Street, Victoria B.C. 141141
