MORRISON _ Marion Bruce, Horgan, (nee McPherson). Born November 5, 1917 in Red Deer, Alberta. Passed away March 9, 2007 at VGH. Marion was the youngest of twelve children born to Alberta Pioneer John A. McPherson and Eva Watson. She grew up in Vancouver and spent her early summers exploring the Kitsilano area, loving Kits beach, and playing tennis at Trafalger. Winters were spent skiing at Grouse and Hollyburn mountains. Her love for sports lasted her lifetime. She is predeceased by her eleven siblings, and husbands, Jack Horgan (1967) and Bill Morrison (1996). She is survived by her three loving daughters, Maureen Horgan, Heather Horgan and Susan Hedden; six grandchildren, Rob (Dana) Suzukovich, Michael Hedden, Charlene (Derek) Taylor, Stephen (Rosa) Hedden, Shannon (Jim) Spencer, Ryan (Zoe) Hedden, and six great-grandchildren, Kyle, Rory, Devon, Jordyn, Ryan, and Ava. Special thanks to the staff at Villa Carital and Dr. Mary Donlevy for their excellent care of our mother over the last nine years. Her unique sense of humour and quick wit will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed. No service by request.
