Mrs. Marilyn Williams Hall - PORT WENTWORTH - Mrs. Marilyn Williams Hall, 82, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Candler Hospital. Mrs. Hall was born in Newington to the late Mr. & Mrs. Frederick Edmondson Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Ellis Hall, Jr. and a sister, Jewell Grace Williams Harmon. She retired in 1992 after a lifelong career with Southern Railroad and she was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her sister, Alice Williams Carter of Folkston, GA; three sisters-in-law, Betty Crosby, Eleanor Loewen and Fay Zipperer, all of the Savannah area; her late husband's sons and their families; many nieces and nephews, including a special niece and nephew, Eva Phillips McLean of Leesburg, GA and Matt Phillips of Americus, GA. Visitation: 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
