BURGESS, Marilyn Patricia - Passed away peacefully on February 23, 2008 at Penetanguishene General Hospital, Penetanguishene, in her 64th year. Marilyn Burgess, of Midland, loving mother of Debra Downer of Ottawa, Candace Burgess of Midland, and Fred Burgess of Orillia; grandmother of Melissa and Nicole; George and Amber; and Kortney, Marcus and Nicklas. Marilyn will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, her brothers Wayne Davis of Orillia, Michael Davis of Orillia, and sister Sharon (Herman) Dorion of Midland. Family and friends will be received at the Lynn Chapel of CARSON FUNERAL HOMES, 290 First Street Midland, (705) 526-6551, on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 Pm. Prayers will be said in the chapel on Tuesday evening. A funeral service will be celebrated in the chapel on Wednesday February 27, 2008 at 11 o'clock. Following cremation, interment at St. Michael's R.C. Cemetery, Orillia. Memorial Donations to the Arthritis Society or Penetanuishene General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
