Marie Williams 1944 2010 It is with great sadness the family of Marie Williams announces her passing on Saturday July 10, 2010 at Royal University Hospital at the age of 65. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Daryl; son, Ward (Leigh-Anne) and granddaughters Brynn and Presly and their mother Pam; daughter, Robin (Les) Banga and grandson Liam; her mother, Anne Oberderfer; sisters, Regina (Frank) Tress and Anne Tarr; brothers, Siegmund Morhart, Anton (Mary) Morhart, John (Muriel) Morhart; numerous brothers and sisters in-law and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Frank Morhart; sister, Rose Messner; and twin brothers, Frank and Zack. Marie was born and raised in Spring Valley, SK and received her psychiatric nursing degree in Brandon, MB. She married Daryl in 1965 and worked for three years at Saskatoon Convalescent Home. She later worked as a clerk for 25 years with Land Titles. Over the years, Marie enjoyed bowling, golfing, knitting, ceramics and various handcrafts, reading, cooking, making preserves, traveling with her husband, being at the cabin at Lake Diefenbaker, spending time with her grandchildren and more recently walking at the Field House. The Prayer Vigil will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. and the Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Both services will take place at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, located at 114 Kingsmere Place in Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and The Canadian Diabetes Association.
