October 24, 2006 Marie Therese Casey, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2006, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, NY, Marie, with her loving husband, Richard, who predeceased her in 1975, raised three children in a house full of laughter and warmth. Marie loved swimming in the Atlantic, martinis at the Carlyle and dancing until dawn. Marie was a graduate of the Convent School and was a communicant of the Cathedral Church. Marie is survived by her daughter, Susan Panell of San Francisco, CA; her sons, Richard of Larchmont, NY, and Robert J. of Cohasset, MA; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Vincent Dolan of Sarasota, FL. We celebrate her passion for life, her love of her family and friends, and her spirit, which will always be with us.
