Marie Linder Williams SPARTANBURG, SC-- Marie Linder Williams, 104, died Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Mountain View Nursing Home after a short illness. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Cora Linder. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by one daughter, Gracie Pitts Moore; one son, Cornelius Booker, Sr.; and one brother, Jerry Linder. Mrs. Williams was a member of Disciples Of Christ Holiness Church and was employed at the Former Peach Blossom Diner. Mrs. Williams leaves to cherish fond memories, four grandchildren, Martha Miller of Augusta, GA, Hattie Marie Prater of Spartanburg, SC, Jo Ann Herndon of Spartanburg, SC, and Cornelius Booker, Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; eight great-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
