LAJOIE, Marie FranceBorn NadeauPassed away peacefully at the Montfort Long Term Care Residence on September 14, 2014 at the age of 96. Daughter of the late Albert Nadeau and late Alice St-Amant, she has joined her brothers and sisters, Lucien, Roger, Rita, Mario and Monique and their husbands and wives. Maman has gone to be reunited with her husband, "Charlie" and beloved daughter, Ginette. She leaves behind her cherished family: Michel (Marthe) and children Martin, Stéphanie, Isabelle (Marc) and Jean-Nicholas (Geneviève); Denis (Diane) and children Pascal (Janique), Dominique and Sébastien; Suzanne (Serge) and daughter Amilie as well as 8 great- grandchildren. Our mother was a dedicated hardworking and caring woman for her family. She was particularly attached to her native city, Rivière-du-Loup, QC and longed to visit her brothers and sisters every summer. Maman leaves a lasting memory in the heart of her family, children and grandchildren. We want to offer our sincerest thanks to the staff of la Pommeraie at the Montfort Long Term Care residence for their compassionate and loving care, especially to Annette Bériault, her personal care worker. In memory of Marie France, donations to the Montfort Hospital Foundation dedicated to the Family Council of the CSLD Montfort or to the Alzheimer Society, are appreciated. The family will receive friends at the Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on September 29, 2014 at 10 am. at Saint-Louis-Marie de Montfort Church, 749 Trojan Avenue, Ottawa.
