HARRINGTON, Marie (Friesen, Welch)June 4, 1919 - April 20, 2011It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Marie. She will always be remembered for her generous heart and beautiful spirit. Marie was predeceased by her daughter Marlene, her best friend and sister Barbara, as well as siblings Helen, Pete, Edward, Sadie, Norma and Menno. She is survived by her children Jo-anne (Kor), Brian (Wendy) and Maria, as well her sister Margaret, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to her caregivers Melody, Marlena and Marcela. Even though life was especially hard for our Mom, we never heard her complain. Mom always said life can be beautiful and we can take comfort in knowing that heaven is more beautiful with our mom there. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the S.P.C.A. or Canuck Place is greatly appreciated. A celebration of mom's life will be held on June 4th in Burnaby.
