Marie H. Davis enjoyed oil painting, and line dancing Pepperell Marie H. (Shattuck) Davis died peacefully at her home, May 10, 2008, surrounded by her family and has gone to be in heaven in the arms of Jesus. She was born in Pepperell February 18, 1918 daughter of the late Chester and Karrie E. (Stone) Shattuck. A life long resident of Pepperell where she attended the schools and had been employed by the Bemis Brother Bag company for over 41 years. She was also a member of the 20 year club at Bemis. A long time member of the Methodist Church of Pepperell, she also enjoyed oil painting, and line dancing. She also served as a past president of the Pepperell Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Davis also enjoyed the Senior Center and was a regular on Wednesday's as well as singing with the Hot Shots. She is survived by children Virginia Williams of Pepperell, Nancy Hall of Orange Park, FL., Michael Davis of Cape Cod and Steven Davis of Sandwich N.H.; her brother Louis Shattuck of Pepperell 13 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
