MARIE E. TODD MARGATE, FL Marie Eileen "Flakey" Todd (nee Woolsey), age 76, of Margate, FL, formerly of Lowell, IN and Lansing, IL, passed away March 28, 2008 after bravely facing many illnesses over the past several years. Mrs. Todd was born on February 11, 1932 in DuQuoin, IL. She was the wife of the late Rex G. Todd of Lowell, IN and the daughter of the late Barney and Beulah Woolsey of DuQuoin, IL. Marie's greatest joys were her family, friends and those she served at the American Legion Post 261 in Cedar Lake, IN for the past 20+ years where she was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary and a dedicated volunteer. Survivors include: her daughter, Rexanne (Charles) of Margate, FL; son, Dennis (Cindy) of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren: Jason Todd Hasting, Angilyn Marie Hasting, Dillon Rex Hasting, James Gale Todd, Andrew Crisman Todd, John Clark Todd and Clara Elizabeth Todd, all of Florida; seven great-grandchildren: Michael, Ashley, Steven, Christina, Dillon Jr., Gabriel and Elaine; brothers: James Woolsey, Jerry Woolsey and Garry Woolsey; and sisters: Margie Provart and Donna Adams, all of Southern Illinois. Preceded in death by brothers: Barney, Dennis, Clifford and Thomas; and sisters: Thelma and Juanita. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, August 4, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon at Burdan Funeral Home, 12901 Wicker Ave. (corner of Rt. 41 and 129th Ave.), Cedar Lake, IN.
