SYLVAIN, Marie – Passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, Second Street Site on Saturday, April 3, 2004. The former Marie Cecilia Larose (Lifetime member of the Cornwall Musicians Union - A.F. of M.); of The Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge, formerly of 120 Augustus Street; age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Cecil (Spence) Sylvain. Loving mother of Bonita (Bonnie) (Mrs. William Brady) and twins Lana Houle and Larry Sylvain (Vicki) all of Cornwall. Cherished and loving grandmother of Cory, Halie, Jessie, Nicholas great-grandmother of Kyle and Kari. Dear sister of Gerard (Mac) Larose (Jackie), Veronica Hamill, both of Cornwall and Betty (Mrs. Rudy Delage) of St. Catherines. Dear daughter of the late Henry Larose and the late Emma Hance. Predeceased by three sisters Mrs. Rose Montpetit, Mrs. Mable Youngs and Mrs. Evelyn Duffy and by two brothers Wilfrid (Bill) Larose and Edwin (Ed) Larose. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Rested privately at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (933-2841). Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge Chapel on Wednesday April 7, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. The family will be in attendance from 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. She was the source of strength and inspiration to our family.
