Dec. 31, 1959 - Nov. 10, 2012Marie Annette Leak Davis, of Madison, Ala., has gone to be with our Lord. May a thousand angels escort her to our God. Isaiah 40 says, "She will run and not grow weary or faint, she will soar like wings of eagles in the presence of our Lord." Annette was born Dec. 31, 1959, and raised in Gadsden. She attended Litchfield High School and graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a degree in elementary education with a second major in English Literature. Annette is survived by her husband, Jeff; four children, Lynn Marie Davis Burger (Mike Burger), Noah Davis, Isaac Davis and Eve Davis; two grandchildren, Katherine Burger and Timothy Davis; her mother, Mary G. Leak; a sister, Robbie Lacy of Madison, Ala.; a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Vicki Leak of Gadsden; several nieces and nephews; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ann and Joe Davis of Gadsden. Annette was preceded in death by her father, Thomas "Buck" Leak of Arab, Ala.
