Marie-Anne LeBlanc 1914 - 2003 SHEDIAC, NB - Marie-Anne LeBlanc, 88, wife of the late Eric LeBlanc of Smith St., Shediac and formerly of Grand-Barachois passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Robichaud, July 20, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Abel Cormier and the late Marie Cormier. She is survived by a daughter Angèle Barker (Dennis) of Brantford, ON.; four sons, Jean-Louis (Marie) and Victor (Jeannine) all of Grand-Barachois, Régis (Antoinette) of Haute-Aboujagane, Lorenzo of Montréal, QC; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Besides her husband Eric, she was also predeceased by two sons, Norbert and Yvon-Guy; a daughter Marie; four sisters, Ida, Yvonne, Bertha, Arzélie and two brothers, Alphonse and Emile Cormier. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30a.m. until time of departure at 9:05a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2003 at St-Henri Roman Catholic Church in Grand-Barachois. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. In her memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (859-6977) or the Alzheimer Society of South-East N. B. (858-8380) would be appreciated by the family.
