UXBRIDGE Mariana (Geary) Flanagan, 38, of Uxbridge, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, after a short yet courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the loving wife of John J. Flanagan since 2003. Born in Glen Cove, N.Y., March 12, 1971, she was a daughter of Stanton and Doris (Erwin) Geary of Newport, R.I. Mariana was a resident of Uxbridge for the past six years and formerly resided in Pomfret, Conn. She was a graduate of Woodstock Academy in 1989, and Lesley College in Boston with a bachelors degree in education. Mariana was a preschool teacher for 12 years until her children were born. Marianas true love and passion were her two boys. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her two sons, Zachary Stanton and Tyler John, both at home; and three sisters, Cini Shaw of Darien, Conn., Diana Jackson of Easton, Conn., and Heather Geary of Charlestown. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Mary Lou and George Flanagan, of Medway; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Wednesday, April 1, at 10 a.m., at St. Josephs Church, 151 Village St., Medway. Burial will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery in Medway. Calling hours are Tuesday, March 31, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes .com), 3 Barber St., Medway.
