Marian Louise Davis, 57, of 407 Nash Mill Road, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at her residence. Prior to her current residence, Ms. Davis had been at Whitten Center for many years. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Alex Davis Sr. and Mattie Lou Childress Davis. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two sisters, Shelby Jean Hagan of Fountain Inn, and Martha Ann Harvey of Anderson; five brothers, Thomas Davis and Landrum Davis, both of Greenville, Carlos Davis, Alex Davis Jr., and Grady Davis, all of Fountain Inn. Ms. Davis was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Davis. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Cannon Funeral Home, Jones Chapel, with burial at Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Carlos Davis, 407 Nash Mill Road, Fountain Inn.
