Marian E. Miller, 76, Murfreesboro, Tenn., formerly of Sarasota, died Sept. 29, 2006. She was born July 14, 1930, in Madison County, Ohio, and moved to Murfreesboro in 2003. She was a clerical worker at Hausman Steel and was a member of Whitfield Estates Presbyterian Church in Sarasota. Survivors include sons Steven Byerly, Gary Byerly and Lawrence; daughters Debbie Shade and Mindy Laird; a brother, Jack Wright; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Whitfield Estates Presbyterian Church in Sarasota. Burial will be private. Murfreesboro Funeral Home in Tennessee handled arrangements.
