SERRES, Jane (nee Patterson). Died in Kingston, Ontario on July 4, 2007, Jane Serres, born in 1925, Maria Sarah Patterson, daughter of Albert Douglas Patterson and Evelyn Jane Patterson of Gaspe, Quebec. She was married three times, to John Serres, Anthony Janik and Arthur Patterson. She is survived by her daughter, Claudia Serres (George Bourke), grandson James Mott, many nieces and nephews, her stepchildren Nancy Vantassel (Jack), John Serres, Neil Serres (Sylvia), Christine Huddleston, Shirley McCrindle (Bob), Reg Patterson (Joan), and Wesley Patterson (Bobbie), and by marriage, many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Our special thanks to Dr. Patey and Dr. Sanfilippo for caring for her, and to Dr. Pym for making it possible for us to share these many extra years together. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, in particular by her devoted companion, Jim McKegney, and his family. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
