WILLIAMS, Marguerite (nee Slocum). Maggie (Marg) died peacefully Sunday, August 24, 2003 in her eighty-ninth year. Beloved wife of the late Henry Williams. Adored sister and sister-in-law of the late Fred and Margo Slocum, the late Creelie and Peter McEntyre, and the late John and Betty Creelman. Most cherished aunt of Fred and Anne Slocum, Shirley Slocum (Marcel), Pauline and Claude Pontbriand, Rosemary and Bob Campbell, David and Tassy McEntyre, Nancy and Jim Wright, and John and Deb Hawley. Special great "Aunt Mowgie" and honourary grandmother to Lynda and Ross Yancher (and their children Aryn, Justin and Owen); Heather and Susan Campbell; Patrick, Peter and Duncan McEntyre; and David, Kathleen and Melanie Wright. Margie, with her marvelous zest for life will be greatly missed by her numerous family, friends and acquaintances, many of whom shared her great love of potting and of gardening (especially roses!). The celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, August 27 at 3 p.m. at Mount Royal United Church, 1800 Graham Blvd. (entrance on Lombard Crescent) in the Town of Mount Royal. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her memory to the charity of your choice.
