RUSSELL, MARGUERITE, 95Marguerite Russell, 95, went to be with the Lord January 25, 2011. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by many family members by her bedside. She was born in Conneaut, Ohio, October 10, 1915 to the late Eugene R. and Grace Lilly Kidder. She was preceded in death by her husband Reneau Russell, Sr., the love of her life, and two older brothers, William "Bill" and Walter Kidder. She is survived by her sister Zola Kidder Knoblock of Dixon, Missouri, her two children Nan Russell Mims and Reneau Russell, Jr. (Joyce) of Ocala, seven grandchildren, Carolyn Mims Gracey of Altamonte Springs, Wayne Mims (Judy) of Ocala, Cindy Mims Somers (John) of Heathrow, Russell Mims (Tonya) of Murphy, NC, Rusty Russell (Tami) of Hawkinsville, GA, Robert Russell, Ocala, Kimberly Russell Immel (Mark), Ocala. 14 great grandchildren, David Gracey of Tallahassee, Sarah Gracey, Altamonte Springs, Wayne Mims, Jr. (Carmen) of King George, VA, Carrie Mims, Orlando, Kevin Mims (Courtnie) Ocala, Ian Somers and Carly Somers of Gainesville, Kindal Russell Smith (Riley) Vienna, GA, Kaitlin Russell and Kyle Russell, of Hawkinsville, Kayla Immel and Kirsten Immel of St. Augustine, Kourtlyn Immel and Kennis Immel of Ocala, and a step great granddaughter, Bethany Howell, Ocala. Three great, great grandchildren, Cara Rose Mims, King George, Jase Russell Smith, Vienna and Westin Michael Roy Mims, Ocala. She enjoyed her collection of dolls, Teddy bears and Elvis gospel music. She loved anything the color of purple and blue and enjoyed growing many varieties of flowers, especially orchids and African Violets. She also enjoyed crocheting, oil painting and picture tinting. Over the years she was a very devoted care giver to elderly family members. She was a former Sunday School teacher and lifetime member of Oak Griner Baptist Church. She was a loving and generous Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother to her large loving family. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 29th at Oak Griner Baptist Church, 6422 NE Jacksonville Road, Ocala, with Rev. Frank Grant officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL, 34478, or Oak Griner Baptist Church Building Fund.
