Margarett Watson Craig (Marge), 76, widow of Kirk R. Craig, died Thursday, April 8, 2010.Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Shirley A. and Alene Jones Watson.Mrs. Craig graduated from Anderson Girls High School where she was an All-State basketball player. For many years she was Office Manager of Craig, Gaulden and Davis Architects of which her husband was a founding partner. Marge was a faithful member of both Buncombe Street United Methodist Church and Faith Memorial Chapel, Cedar Mountain, NC.Active with the Greenville County Museum of Art, she served as secretary of the Art Association for several years. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Greenville Council of Architects and served as President of that organization. She was a longtime secretary of the Ceasar's Head Community Center where she and her husband kept a summer home. She was also actively involved with the Friends of Springwood Cemetery. Marge was an avid tennis player and an accomplished skier.Surviving are her brother, Emmett S. Watson and his wife, Judith, of Portland, MI; nieces and nephews, Kathleen Griffes of Grand Rapids, MI, Patricia Sabin and husband, John, also of Grand Rapids, MI, Blake Watson and his wife, Collene, of Jennison, MI, Todd Watson of Cedar Springs, MI, and Jordon Watson of Portland, MI.The family expresses heartfelt thanks to the staffs of Browning Geriatric Consulting, Saints Healthcare and Lutheran Hospice for their dedicated and loving care.A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry Temple and the Rev. Grover Putnam officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1988, Greenville, SC 29602, Faith Memorial Chapel, c/o Mrs. Sydney Thompson, P.O.
