Margaret Williams CHESNEE, SC-- Margaret Louise Towery Williams, of 653 Green Lake Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at her home. She was the wife of Charles Adrian Williams and daughter of the late Sherman Taft Towery and Ruth Harriett Bailey Towery. She was the co-owner of the Gospel Music Center in Chesnee, a retired seamstress, and Avon representative. She was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church, a former Sunday School Teacher, Training Union Teacher and choir member. Surviving are two daughters, Judy Williams Clary and husband, Michael of Gaffney and Wanda Williams Metz and husband, Ronnie of Boiling Springs, SC; three sons, Don Williams and wife, Gwen of Green Creek, NC, Mike Williams and wife, Harriet of Chesnee, and Eddie Williams and wife, Peggy of Boiling Springs, SC; thirteen grandchildren, Michelle Grigg, Andy Williams, Brian Williams, Chris Williams, Nicole Sprinkle, Christi Jackson, Cori Spicer, Casey Arthur, Brad Clary, Travis Clary, Jeff Metz, Shannon Metz and Lindsey Metz; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Hazel Davis of Chesnee and Yvonne Lawter of Boiling Springs, SC. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia Williams Wood; a brother, William Columbus (W.C.) Towery; and a sister, Patricia Hughey. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Buck Creek Baptist Church, Chesnee, SC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the Church with Rev. Chris Gulledge officiating. Interment will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
